We are looking for a highly qualified individual to fill a full‑time research position in the Networking and Distributed Systems Lab. Your contribution will focus on researching and developing cutting‑edge networked systems technologies, architectures and systems for next

Luke generation AI, HPC, Enterprise and Telecommunication Infrastructure.

• HPC, cloud, datacenter and enterprise networks
• Cloud, AI and HPC workload orchestration
• Wi‑Fi/Cellular/Next cercal communication
• B5G/6G RAN/core development
• Next generation media (e.g., XR, AR, VR)
• FPGAs, GPUs, and SmartNICs
• Disaggregated systems and interconnects (CXL, PCIe, NVLink, UALink, etc.)
• Storage and distributed systems
• Sensing and localization
Network programmability and virtualization
• Network monitoring and anomaly analytics
• Network and information security

• Doctoral degree in Computer Science or Electrical & Computer Engineering
• Proven track record of world‑class innovative research contributions
• Strong programming and system building skills
• Highly desirable: C/C++, Python, Linux Kernel development, Network Stack
• Experience with CUDA, PyTorch, K8s, Tensor Flow, KNative, Openv Switch and other control and orchestration platforms
• Proficiency in network protocols and technologies (Ultra Ethernet, Slingshot, Collectives Communication, IP, TCP/UDP, P4, 5G, eBPF, DPDK, etc.)
• Knowledge of Wi‑Fi/cellular protocol SAMPLE stack
• Experience with wireless systems building (SDRs such as USRPs)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively in a team

Annual Salary USD 136, in California. Salary ranges reflect base salary; variable incentives may also be offered.
