Reports To: VP – People & Culture
Level: Property Leadership

Position Summary

The Director of People & Culture – HC serves as the senior People & Culture leader for the HC property, supporting all HR operations and strategy at all levels. This role ensures compliance, consistency, and a strong people experience while aligning property needs with Foley Hospitality Group’s enterprise People & Culture framework.

Core Responsibilities

People & Culture Leadership

  • Serve as the primary People & Culture leader and advisor for the HC property.
  • Support all HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, LOA, unemployment, performance management, and compliance.
  • Partner with property leadership to support business objectives through people strategies.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Lead employee relations matters, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Partner with corporate People & Culture on complex or escalated matters.

Recruiting & Workforce Support

  • Oversee recruiting and onboarding processes for the property.
  • Ensure staffing plans align with operational needs and brand standards.
  • Support leadership with workforce planning and retention strategies.

Leadership & Culture

  • Champion FHG culture and values at the property level.
  • Partner with Learning & Culture on training, orientation, and development initiatives.
  • Support engagement and recognition efforts at the property.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the Coordinator of People & Culture – HC role.
  • Ensure effective delegation, training, and accountability within the People & Culture function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-unit operations.
  • Strong employee relations, compliance, and leadership skills
