Clinical Supervisor (Licensed/Certified)

Pay

$68,640/year – $72,500/year

Requirements
  • Must possess a license in line with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) qualifications, or a certification recognized by the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs.
  • Must possess a current valid driver’s license in good standing in the state of employment and be insurable by the designated carrier if required to drive for company purposes.
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 15% to attend meetings and conferences.
  • Must maintain compliance with continuing education hours and/or units (CEH or CEU) as determined by the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs and/or other regulatory agencies.
  • Must possess knowledge, skills and abilities related to:
  • The evaluation of patients, treatment planning, and counseling services.
  • The use, abuse and treatment of illicit drugs and addiction.
  • Organization and time management.
  • Communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Professional demeanor and customer service practices.
  • Competence with Microsoft computer programs.
  • Knowledge and application of agency policy and procedures, including disciplinary and grievance adherence.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance of the clinical program with CARF and all state, federal, local, and governing body policies; assist in all surveys, inspections, and funding sources.
  • Evaluate the clinical needs of the institution and develop appropriate training to address identified needs.
  • Supervise and facilitate clinical supervision for clinical teammates.
  • Insure timely and complete documentation of treatment services through regular review of records and digital signing as needed.
  • Present materials in seminars, individual and group counseling, when necessary, and supervise the educational aspects of the clinical program.
  • Assist professional staff in resolving program and treatment difficulties, supervise assigned personnel providing group and individual counseling/therapy, and assist in planning individual treatment programs and activities.
  • Ensure continuing staff effectiveness for assigned areas of responsibility; provide supervision and guidance to individual staff, monitor family treatment programs.
  • Provide continuing professional development of assigned staff, review individual development goals, progress, and certification progress and results.
  • Monitor all clinical program areas regularly to evaluate performance, assist with issues/concerns, and interact with patients.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information to protect patient rights.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with the medical profession, referral sources, EAPs, and other health‑related facilities through formal agreements; network and market to promote the program and maintain community relationships.
  • Assess the needs of participants through outcome surveys, suggestions, and meetings to assure consistent, quality care and follow up with adjustments of program development.
  • Directly communicate with other leadership teammates and follow up with periodic updates to address immediate concerns and approve administrative decisions that affect the clinical team and program.
  • Maintain caseload when needed for census purposes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
  • Master’s or better in Social Work or related field.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Drivers License.
  • Licensed Psychologist (PSYD), LMFT, LPC, LCSW (preferred).
