Overview
Overnight Caregiver Opportunity (11PM–8AM/9AM) — Meaningful Work, Supportive Team, Competitive Pay

We are hiring immediately for a compassionate, reliable overnight caregiver to support a special client living with Parkinson’s disease in the Santa Barbara area. This is a wakeful shift—you must remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift to ensure safety and comfort.
Shift Details- Hours:
NOCS 11:00 PM to 8:00 or 9:00 AM - Location:
Santa Barbara, CA - Client Needs:
Gentle assistance, medication reminders, mobility support, and overnight monitoring
- Has experience with Parkinson’s or similar conditions
- Is calm, patient, and observant
- Can stay awake and engaged throughout the night
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Punctual arrival to assigned shifts, and timely response to communications
- Accurate time keeping via secure website
- Adhere to clients plan of care and Bright Star Care Core Values
- Document tasks and complete written summary of your client’s condition, electronically
- Prompt reporting of falls, emergencies, etc.
- Maintain client privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines
- Hands-on care experience, including toileting, and personal hygiene
- Must be 18yrs of age or older
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Valid Driver’s License and Insured, Reliable vehicle
- Willingness and ability to register with the Home Care Aid Registry
