Ashley & Vance Engineering is looking for Civil Design Engineers to join our team in our Santa Barbara, CA office location.

At AV, you’ll grow as an engineer while working with a talented, supportive civil team that’s passionate about shaping our communities. Our strong mentoring program gives design engineers the tools and guidance they need to thrive. On a typical day, you’ll take part in drafting and engineering design, coordinate with consultants, work with other engineers to understand project scopes, prepare plans, run calculations, or visit job sites.

Along the way, you’ll learn to ask the right questions to improve accuracy and efficiency while gaining experience on a variety of work from commercial and residential developments to infrastructure improvements and large-scale public works projects.

• In-depth experience across a variety of project types

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Have EIT Certification (or actively working toward it)
• Have experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology software
• Are eager to take on fresh challenges, expand their expertise, and collaborate on meaningful projects

Starting Yearly Salaries: $70,000 – $78,000 DOE & Location
