Salary range: See Table 15 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimated full-time rate for this position at 100% time is $68,247 to $74,577. Percent appointments may vary.

Position description

The Department of Philosophy at UC Santa Barbara invites applicants for lecturer positions during the academic year, including summer. Salary is based on UC's salary scales and depends on qualifications. The posting will remain open until March 31, 2026 to accommodate department needs.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

  • A Masters degree in Philosophy and at least one year of teaching experience.

Preferred qualifications

  • A Ph.D. in Philosophy is preferred but not required.
