Overview
Job Description And Duties Under the general direction of the Office Services Supervisor II, the Office Technician (OT) (Typing) serves as the Court Clerk in the Workers Compensation Division, performing a wide range of the most difficult clerical duties. In that role, the OT evaluates a variety of incoming legal documents and correspondence using the Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS). The incumbent will also provide assistance to the Disability Evaluation Unit (DEU), the workers' compensation judges, and court personnel.

Working ConditionsThis position is located at: 120 Cremona Drive, #270, Goleta, CA 93117. The OT(T) works in a smoke-free DWC Office under LED lighting, controlled temperature, quiet to moderate noise levels; equipped with cubicles, computer, and other office equipment. Ability to retrieve and transport legacy box files in a safe manner.
Special Requirements- The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired. Additional information regarding acceptable typing tests is available at the website.
