Overview
Receptionist - Part Time - Weekends Only
Part Time: 8:30am - 5:00pm
The Receptionist is responsible for handling all calls, meeting and greeting the public and Front Porch employees in a friendly and professional manner, and directing requestors appropriately.
Essential Functions- Operates a multi-line telephone console to receive incoming messages. Takes messages accurately, including correct spelling of names and phone numbers.
- Greets, registers, and directs guests to appropriate personnel professionally.
- Performs a variety of clerical duties including but not limited to processing and distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail, including USPS, Fed Ex, UPS, Amazon, and intercommunity mail; logging all incoming medication and contacting the nursing staff or residents for pick up; selling meal tickets to visitors, issuing visitors’ passes, daily balancing of the cash box, etc.
- Conduct wellness checks twice daily, contacting residents who do not set off motion detectors or flip metal mail tabs.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
