Senior Office Administrator
Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. (SBIR) is a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a leader in aerospace, defense, and electronics industries.
Compensation: $26.92 per hour – $40.87 per year (DOE). Full‑Time, Monday‑Friday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Backup for all front office administration duties, including answering multi‑line phones, providing excellent customer service, general office administration, mail distribution, reception, data entry, word processing, spreadsheet maintenance, scanning, filing, ordering office supplies, etc.
- General administrative support to the organization, including executive management.
- Assist the facility manager in overseeing operations of the facilities, including management of the building and office equipment. Interface with cleaning service, equipment vendors and landlord.
- Lead coordination and planning of all employee events, including birthdays, anniversaries, company picnic, holiday party, all‑hands meetings and other events.
- Coordinate customer visits, including arranging for meals and refreshments.
- Administrative support for HR Manager: preparing onboarding, termination and benefits materials/packets, updating annual calendars, organizational charts and maintaining the SBIR Intranet.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Current driver’s license required with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED; plus five to ten years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid administrative experience in an office setting, training or proficiency in MS Office tools required.
- Experience in finance and sales support a plus.
- Due to US Export Control Regulations compliance, eligible candidates must be a US citizen, permanent resident or a person who has been granted asylum; proper documentation required.
- Pre‑employment verifications: must pass background, reference and ITAR/EAR checks in addition to a pre‑employment drug screen.

Location:
Santa Barbara, CA. Salary: $115,000 – $120,000 (3 weeks ago). Additional salary ranges: $28.80 – $36.50 (2 weeks ago), $65,000 – $105,000 (4 months ago). Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at HEICO by 2x.
