Position: Accountant - Santa Barbara, CA - Full-Time

Accountant – Santa Barbara, CA – Full-Time

Your Part‑Time Controller, LLC is a national leader in outsourced accounting services to nonprofit organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Perform bank account and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and related analysis.
  • Track and monitor grants.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide projections.
  • Assist with outside audit preparation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
  • Minimum 3 years of related public accounting and/or industry experience; 5+ years preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of multiple accounting software packages;
    Quick Books experience is a plus.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client offices as needed.
  • Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required.
  • Customized cover letter explaining interest and qualifications is required.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary $60,000–$80,000 for a 35‑hour full‑time, non‑exempt position.
  • Paid time off: 4 weeks paid vacation and 40 hours sick time (with eligibility for additional time based on tenure).
