Direct and coordinate daily activities to promote the OEM/ODM sales and support of electronics manufacturing services and other contract manufacturing services offered by PARPRO, to achieve budgeted sales/profit, costs, financial metrics, and customer satisfaction. Monitor target markets, identify new business opportunities, and propose/drive action plans to optimize PARPRO’s market penetration. Identify strategic accounts and lead the implementation of specific plans to become supplier of choice.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record in generating OEM/ODM profitable business growth within contract manufacturing environments such as Electronics Manufacturing Services (PCBA, box build assembly and integration), electro‑mechanical solutions (cable and wire harness assembly) and sheet metal fabrication and finishing, as well as must have an excellent technical aptitude to engage in capability discussions with Engineering, Quality and Procurement organizations.
- Grow revenue by developing relationships with prospects and customers to drive new business and an active sales funnel
- Qualify potential business and close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations, examining risks and potentials, while estimating key stakeholder needs and goals
- Support short‑term and long‑term strategic planning by developing and reporting on quarterly & annual territory sales revenue growth goals
- Function as an industry expert able to articulate the value our products/services and our organization
- Develop, prepare and present high‑quality sales presentations
- Establish regular, in‑person customer visits and communications
- Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, automation, etc.), business administration, marketing or equivalent sales work experience required
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a technical sales or business development role.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Competence with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must comply / meet the definition of US Person under ITAR/EAR regulations
- Very strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated individual, comfortable cold calling and developing new relationships
- Ability to travel when required
- Preferably based in Southern California. Northern California is also an option.
