Job Description

Energy Aid is seeking a dynamic Solar Sales Representative with strong industry experience to join our team. In this role, you will focus on selling additional products to current service customers whom we have worked with to troubleshoot their existing solar systems. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by promoting system add-ons, batteries, roofing, and EV car chargers.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual presentations booked from our marketing team to deliver solar and battery proposals state-wide.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our existing customer base while growing a healthy pipeline of upsell opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of customer needs to ensure we are providing accurate proposals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop upsell strategies and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in Sales Force.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and upselling best practices.
  • As the role evolves, there may be opportunities to lead and grow a team of upsell specialists.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in sales, especially with Solar and Batteries post NEM 3.0.
  • Extensive knowledge of the solar industry, including system components and add-ons.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with Sales Force and proposal tools like Aurora, Solo, Quativa is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
