We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Quality Control Inspector for our Engineering division. The successful candidate will be a detail‑oriented, meticulous individual with a strong background in the AS9100 Quality Management System. This role will be essential in ensuring the quality of our products and services, maintaining our organization’s reputation for excellence, and contributing to our continuous improvement efforts. The position provides a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, interact with various departments, and play a crucial part in our company’s success.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of all engineering products and processes to ensure conformity with AS9100 standards.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Use a variety of inspection tools and equipment to measure and test products, and record data for further analysis.
- Identify non‑conformities and initiate corrective actions, working closely with the engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members on quality control procedures and standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring all processes and documents comply with AS9100 standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting trends, issues, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve quality objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Control Inspector role within the Engineering industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the AS9100 Quality Management System.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, statistical analysis, and process improvement techniques.
- Excellent technical skills, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in using various inspection tools and equipment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with various stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
- Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification would be a plus.
