Marketing Specialist II – HNTB

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Figueroa Street) or Santa Ana, CA (Irvine)

Job Type: Full Time, Regular

Pay Range: $74,505.18 - $ (Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County)

You will play a key role in writing and organizing proposals and marketing materials for strategic initiatives. Our West Division Marketing team is growing and the position offers the opportunity to work alongside professionals who specialize in proposal and presentation development, content writing, and graphic design.

• Coordinate, write, and may lead qualification packages, proposals, and leave‑behind material for pursuits, including reviewing and editing content for clarity, compliance, and key messages.
• Provide support for the presentation phase of the pursuit.
• Support pursuit teams in developing win strategies.
• Assist with organization and support message development for the presentation phase of pursuit.
• Organize and may facilitate pursuit strategy meetings.
• Support client service teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings, as well as participating in client service team meetings.
• May coordinate division public relations activities, including creating press releases and announcements, writing articles for the division newsletter, and coordinating project awards and other special PR‑related projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field and 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• In lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge of AEC industry, terms, and definitions highly desired.
• Experience with quality assurance and quality control of marketing materials/technical documents.
• Knowledge and/or familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Proficiency in common grammar, punctuation, proofing and business writing.
