Position: Heat Press Operator.
Work Type: Full-Time (7 AM – 4 PM).
Expected hours: 40 per week.
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 depending on experience.
Artbeat Studios is looking for a reliable Heat Press Operator with dye sublimation experience, skilled in preparing, pressing, and finishing high-quality printed products using heat transfer and dye sublimation techniques. You will operate and maintain heat press equipment, ensuring accurate temperature, pressure, and timing settings, and produce consistent, vibrant, and durable results while meeting production deadlines and quality standards. Job Responsibilities- Operate heat press and dye sublimation equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare, align, and press prints onto Chromaluxe aluminum substrate.
- Work with sheet metal components for cutting, handling, and preparation before pressing.
- Measure materials precisely to ensure proper sizing, placement, and alignment.
- Follow job orders, production instructions, and artwork specifications accurately.
- Perform quality checks to ensure color accuracy, print clarity, and defect-free output.
- Maintain production schedules and meet daily output targets.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and finishing of completed products.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with dye sublimation and heat press operations.
- Strong understanding of working with sheet metal and related materials.
- Keen eye for measuring, alignment, and detail accuracy.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, job tickets, and diagrams precisely.
- Quality-focused with strong attention to detail.
- Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Previous experience operating heat press or dye sublimation equipment preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, print production, or fabrication environments is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working with tools, machines, and production equipment.
