EssentialFunctions Of The Job
- Installing fabric-based composites onto base material for further processing.
- Use of basic hand tools (e.g., knives, tweezers, swabs) and various machines (e.g., coating tables, ovens, presses).
- Apply adhesive, install liner, and trim product.
- Mask surfaces to prep items for bonding.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Experience working with resins and chemicals is a plus.
- Experience as an assembler is a plus.
- Skilled with using basic hand tools (e.g., knives, tweezers, swabs) and various machines (e.g., coating tables, ovens, presses).
- Ability to give, receive, and follow written and verbal instructions in English and communicate job related information to others.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works indoors within the office and manufacturing areas.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate or loud.
- The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or to hear.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders] or have refugee or asylee status.
Pay Range$16 to $20/hour.
