Job Summary:

Under supervision, assembles mechanical parts to complete finished units. Performs required checkouts through the use of precision measuring instruments and special equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Assembles mechanical parts to complete finished units within the established assembly time.
• Performs required check‑outs through precision measuring instruments and special test equipment.
• Refers to written instructions to build sub‑assemblies and units.
• Uses precision measuring instruments and a wide variety of small hand tools.
• Reworks sub‑assemblies and units or modifies existing parts.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Regular attendance.

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Working Conditions:

This position requires standing for eight hours per day. May be required to bend, push and pull product. This position may be required to use hand tools. This position may require the use of solvents and/or lubricants. May be required to lift boxes and parts up to 40lbs.
