The individual will perform electrical wiring of automated systems to include installations, troubleshooting and repairs. May have all or partial responsibility for electrical and/or pneumatic systems on large integration programs. The major responsibilities include wiring of panels to the automated machinery, including end-devices on motion platforms. This also includes powering / troubleshooting the electrical panels, wiring the process heads, and wiring the fastener feeder systems to the main control panel.

- Perform PM’s and repair electrical systems of industrial machinery.
- Follow electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.
- Read and correctly interpret blueprints/schematics and wiring diagrams (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic blueprints).
- Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, connect cables and wires between machines and equipment.
- Wire machines, run conduit, build control panels.
- Run pneumatic lines to valves and cylinders.
- Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and repair/replace.
- Ensure the safety of the electrical systems.
- Repair or replace wires, cables or other fixtures/equipment using hand tools.
- Performs troubleshooting; start up and de-bug of machinery.
- Required to travel to customer facilities for machine installations and service.
- Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:
- This position must meet Export Control Compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22.C.F.R. is required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- At least 2 years electrical experience.
- Associates degree in Electrical or related field preferred.
- Must be able to read blueprints (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
- Maintain current knowledge of new and existing products, applications, and standards. Specifically, NFPA, NEC, UL 508, IEC and CE as they relate to control panel design and build.
- Journeyman Electrician Preferred.
- Associates degree in Electrical or related field preferred.
- Ability to organize and maintain effective inventory.
Position will require out-of-the area and overnight travel. Travel can be up to 30% of the time.
