Are you a hands on Welding Supervisor looking to be part of a world-renowned, single-source provider of production and automated assembly systems for the aerospace and defense industry? What you’ll do as a Welding Supervisor- Supervise and manage activities directly related to daily business and department needs
- Effectively communicate daily schedules, goals, quality issues and concerns between shifts to ensure customer expectations are met
- Provide mentoring, leadership, and direction to employees
- Assign work assignments based on daily department needs, ensure quality products are produced and successfully achieve department metrics
- Repair broken or damaged parts
- Fabricate and revise fixtures, jigs, gauges, hand applies and special tooling and components
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Proven experience supervising in a shop environment.
- Experience with steel, aluminum, and Invar 36
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and Flux welding processes
- Leadership style that’s firm but fair, with the ability to teach and motivate others
- Flexibility to work 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (extended or 5 PM – 5 AM during busy periods), lots of overtime available!
- U.S. Person and eligibility for security clearance would be a plus.
