Are you a hands on Welding Supervisor looking to be part of a world-renowned, single-source provider of production and automated assembly systems for the aerospace and defense industry? They provide high-precision advanced automated equipment as well as a full suite of both mold and assembly tooling required for the aerospace manufacturing market, including the largest Invar molds ever made— making them the largest tooling group in the industry.

• Supervise and manage activities directly related to daily business and department needs
• Effectively communicate daily schedules, goals, quality issues and concerns between shifts to ensure customer expectations are met
• Provide mentoring, leadership, and direction to employees
• Assign work assignments based on daily department needs, ensure quality products are produced and successfully achieve department metrics
• Repair broken or damaged parts
• Fabricate and revise fixtures, jigs, gauges, hand applies and special tooling and components
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency

• Proven experience supervising in a shop environment.
• Experience with steel, aluminum, and Invar 36
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and Flux welding processes
• Leadership style that’s firm but fair, with the ability to teach and motivate others
• Flexibility to work 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (extended or 5 PM – 5 AM during busy periods), lots of overtime available!
• U.S. Person and eligibility for security clearance would be a plus.
