Overview
SVP Mortgage Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee both retail and wholesale operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
Pay Disclosure: The starting base salary range for this position is $150,000 annually. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Job Location: Hybrid schedule. Work in office located in Santa Ana, CA 3 to 4 days per week. Remote from home 1 to 2 days per week.

Responsibilities- Work with Executive team to achieve business production, efficiency and financial targets while ensuring process excellence and loan quality.
- Evaluate, identify and implement process improvement initiatives aligned to our key values.
- ttract and motivate the team to achieve management business objectives while maintaining accountability and staffing to capacity.
- Quickly and effectively respond to all market changes.
- Extensive knowledge of Agency requirements (Client/FHLMC/FHA/VA/Bonds).
- Establish, track and maintain SLAs through interaction with operations and sales team.
- Strong technical expertise for reporting and workflow development.
- udit and write operational P&Ps as needed.
- Minimum 10 years in Executive Level Operations leadership role working for an Independent Mortgage Banker overseeing all facets of mortgage operations.
- MUST be Mortgage Operations:
This means processing, underwriting, funding, closing teams. Not interested in Mortgage Sales. - Experience in both Wholesale and Retail environment.
- Experience in Joint Venture channels preferred.
- Proven leadership abilities and a broad and deep understanding of the of the federal regulations and laws governing the mortgage business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
