Sr Manager, Strategy Development

Work Location: Santa Ana office, fully onsite.

Who You Are:

As a Senior Manager in Strategy Development, you will report to and partner with your group’s Director throughout the project lifecycle to implement cost savings and drive client engagement. You will engage with Fortune 1000 and Fortune 500 companies across diverse industries, interacting with C‑level contacts. The ideal candidate demonstrates time‑management skills, the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines, and is comfortable in a fast‑paced environment, detail‑oriented and takes pride in the work produced.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain project scope and schedule, build relationships with clients’ C‑level leadership and key stakeholders, and handle objections to resolve complex situations.

What You Will Do:
  • Partner with Director on your group’s portfolio of accounts.
  • Participate in client meetings via in‑person and virtual.
  • Execute client deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, including independently managing data collection and strategy preparation to ensure all content is accurate and client‑ready.
  • Drive client engagements to close out projects, with support from Director.
  • Influence people and build strong relationships with clients and co‑workers.
  • Create and manage project management plans.
  • Supervise and support current projects with all team members to keep projects on track.
  • Manage risks to the project; anticipate potential delays and initiate plans for risk mitigation.
  • Execute to project objectives; obtain client approval and implement maximum cost‑savings opportunities.
  • Maintain appropriate level of communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of core expense areas that PRP manages for clients.
  • Complete additional duties as required.
What You Need:
  • 7–10 years of applicable project management or coordinator experience.
  • Background in management consulting preferred.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and prioritize/manage workload.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to create and maintain effective relationships.
  • High EQ and strong conflict‑management skills.

The salary range for this position is: $94,700–$155,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, education, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
