USCIS Immigration Paralegal

Job Description

Our dynamic Law Office is seeking a highly-skilled and self-motivated Immigration Paralegal to join our growing team. Someone who is organized, detail-oriented, punctual and reliable. Must be BI-LINGUAL (Spanish/English).

• Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of immigration experience handling:
    Family-based petitions (I130, I485, DS260, I864, 601A, etc.)
  • Waivers
  • U-visa/VAWA

• Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with legal case management and project management
  • Perform clerical duties such as transcribing documents and maintaining files
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
  • Prepare legal documents and assist with legal drafting
  • Enter data into case management systems accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain professionalism and excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients and other parties involved in cases
  • Review and analyze contracts and other legal documents

• Skills:
  • Must be bilingual (Spanish and English)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in legal research and drafting
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in data entry and using case management systems
  • Knowledge of immigration law and procedures is a plus
