Attorney – Employment Litigation Defense

Location: Santa Ana, CA

A leading full-service law firm in Santa Ana is seeking an experienced Attorney to join its Employment Litigation Defense practice. This role offers the opportunity to advocate on behalf of employers in a diverse range of workplace disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour claims, and retaliation matters.

• Represent business clients in employment-related litigation, arbitration, and administrative hearings
• Manage all phases of civil litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Advise employers on compliance with state and federal labor laws, regulations, and workplace policies
• Prepare legal documents, draft pleadings, respond to regulatory complaints, and negotiate settlements
• Collaborate with internal teams and client representatives, delivering strategic risk assessments and practical solutions

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar, in good standing
• 3+ years of experience in employment litigation defense, preferably representing business clients
• Proven record in handling depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with class action defense, wage & hour disputes, and EEOC/DOL proceedings
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to professional ethics
