Associate Attorney - Construction Defect

Note: This position is a hybrid work schedule for the Santa Ana, CA office. Associates with fewer than 2 years of experience are required to be in office close to full time or full time.

Job Description

• Handle construction defect litigation matters from inception through trial with minimal supervision
• Conduct discovery, site inspections, issue analysis, depositions, and settlement negotiations
• Retain and work with expert witnesses for expert discovery
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, and hearings
• Collaborate with a team to achieve client and firm goals

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction defect experience
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
• Strong litigation skills, including handling cases independently
• Admission to the California Bar
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
