This job description is tailored for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with a strong Dev Ops focus, incorporating the most relevant technologies for 2026, such as Bicep, AI-integrated monitoring, and advanced Dev Sec Ops .

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Azure / GCP Cloud & Dev Ops Engineer to lead the architecture, automation, and management of our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring our Azure / GCP environments are scalable, secure, and highly available. You will be the primary driver of our CI/CD maturity and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) strategies.

• Cloud Architecture & Governance:
  Design and implement scalable, well‑architected Azure solutions using IaaS and PaaS models. Maintain cloud governance through Azure Policy and Blueprints.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Develop and maintain modular, reusable infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates to ensure consistent environment provisioning.
• CI/CD Leadership:
  Architect end‑to‑end automation pipelines using Azure Dev Ops (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts) or Git Hub Actions to support rapid, zero‑downtime deployments.
• Containerization:
  Manage and orchestrate containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR).
• Dev Sec Ops :
  Integrate security into the heart of the pipeline. Manage secrets via Azure Key Vault, implement RBAC, and conduct automated vulnerability scanning.
• Observability & Reliability:
  Set up advanced monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure 99.9% uptime.
• Mentorship:
  Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and cloud‑native design.

• Cloud Platforms:
  Expert‑level knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity).
• Dev Ops Tools:
  Advanced proficiency in Azure Dev Ops Services or Git Hub Enterprise.
• IaC Frameworks:
  Terraform (preferred), Bicep, or Pulumi.
• Containerization:
  Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Scripting:
  Mastery of Power Shell, Azure CLI, Python, or Bash for automation.
• Networking:
  Deep understanding of VNETs, Express Route, Azure Firewall, and Load Balancers.
• Configuration Management:
  Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

• Experience:
  
  7+ years in IT, with 4+ years specifically focused on Azure / GCP Cloud / Dev Ops.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Required:
  
  AZ-400 (Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert)
• Desired: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) or AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert)

• Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders (like "Natt" or other customer contacts).
