Job Title: Configuration Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Santa Ana, CA

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the configuration management system for our organization. The Configuration Manager will work closely with the development, testing, and operations teams to ensure that all changes to the system are properly documented and tracked.

• Develop and maintain the configuration management system for the organization
• Work closely with the development, testing, and operations teams to ensure that all changes to the system are properly documented and tracked
• Ensure that all changes to the system are properly tested and approved before being implemented
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the configuration management system
• Ensure that all configuration items are properly identified, controlled, and accounted for
• Ensure that all changes to the system are properly communicated to all stakeholders
• Develop and maintain a change management process for the organization
• Facilitate weekly meetings and host Change Control Board (CCB) reviews on changes and research impact to the organization
• Support Document Control/Configuration Management
• Various tasks assigned by the Doc Control manager
• Aerospace/Military Doc Control preferred
• Excellent organizational skills

• Proven experience as a Configuration Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of configuration management tools and processes
• 3 years' of experience in Document Control / Configuration Management
• Managed Document Control/Configuration Management through a third-party system, not only Excel
• Has experience and an understanding of indentured Bill of Materials and how to structure them within a Document control/ configuration management system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
