Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-time) – Santa Ana, CA

Cortica is looking for a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to join its growing multi-disciplinary team. We are a healthcare company focused on children with neurodevelopmental differences, delivering life-changing care to children, families, and communities.

• Establish speech and language treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.
• Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate.
• Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure a high standard of care.
• Provide play-based and goal-based interventions to develop receptive and expressive language skills, considering sensory processing, regulation, and motor differences.
• Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals.
• Develop strategies and supports to help individuals engage in communication across settings.
• Collaborate with individuals and families to understand their values, interests, and goals.
• Implement programming that considers all aspects of the child, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
• Contribute to program development and educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment.
• Deliver at least 22.75 hours of direct patient care each week, excluding time for training, documentation, and administrative meetings.

• Licensed to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California.
• Excellent clinical skills.

• Passion for working with children.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
• Physical ability to perform tasks as needed with reasonable accommodations available.

The base pay range for this opening is $47.12 to $58.89 hourly. Compensation will be based on skill level, relevant experience, education, and location.
