Medical Authorization Entry Specialist - Santa Ana (Full-time 9am-6pm)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Authorization Entry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering authorizations into the system and ensuring that appointments are scheduled and rendered as needed.

• Enter authorizations into the internal systems with high accuracy
• Verify and update appointment schedules to ensure all services are rendered as authorized
• Collaborate with TASKids' clinical and administrative teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Monitor and follow up on pending authorizations and appointment statuses

• High attention to detail:
  Ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in documentation
• Experience in medical billing:
  Previous work with insurance authorizations, claims, or billing processes
• High School Diploma/GED. BS/BA preferred
• Fast and accurate typing skills:
  Capable of efficiently entering large volumes of data
• Knowledge of CPT codes:
  Understanding of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and their application in healthcare billing
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
