Position Title: Associate Social Work & Marriage Family Therapy Clinic
Location: Santa Ana, CA 92704
Job OverviewThe Associate, Social Work & Marriage Family Therapy Clinic is responsible for providing clinical services across the life span. The Therapist applies psychological/counseling principles in assessment, clinical interventions, research, training, case management, and consultation. Responsibilities include diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning. The Therapist offers individual, group, child, and family therapy, focusing on short‑term problem‑solving therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, brief psychodynamic therapy, crisis intervention, coping skills, substance abuse treatment, behavior modification, case consultations, and other evidence‑based practice techniques.
The Therapist collaborates with internal and external partners and participates in conferences, workshops, research studies, and multidisciplinary projects.
- Must be registered with the Board of Behavioral Science.
- Master's degree required from a college or university accredited by CSWE, CMFT, or a recognized accrediting agency.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or other predominant language preferred.
- Valid BLS certification or higher following AHA or American Red Cross guidelines.
- Direct experience with short‑term problem‑solving treatment, cognitive‑behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, brief psychodynamic therapy, family therapy, group therapy, child therapy, substance abuse treatment, and behavior modification preferred.
$68,640.00 - $85,800.00 annually
Actual salary offers are considered by various factors including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
