Overview
Liquidity & Funding Manager at Banc of California. The role contributes to and helps optimize liquidity management strategies, monitors regulatory requirements, and performs duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.
How You’ll Make a Difference- Contribute to developing and implementing comprehensive liquidity risk management strategies
- Monitor and analyze the Bank’s liquidity position, identifying potential risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective liquidity planning and stress testing
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes affecting fund management
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements; work with regulatory bodies and internal audit teams on liquidity or fund management concerns
- Collaborate with risk management teams to assess and address potential risks in the liquidity and fund management domains
- Follows policies and procedures; completes tasks correctly and on time; supports the company’s goals and values
- Performs the position safely and complies with OSHA standards
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned
- Knowledge and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations related to this position (e.g., Regulation Z, Regulation B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/AML, CIP, RFPA, CRA)
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field required
- CFA Charter holder is preferred
- Proven experience 4+ years in liquidity management and fund management roles within a banking or financial services environment

The full-time base salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $ USD per year. The base salary offered is determined based on education, experience, training, skills, and market data.
