We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA Engineer with expertise in Power On Reliance and C++ programming to design, implement, and maintain SCADA systems in the power and utility industry. This hybrid role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize SCADA system functionality, integrate field devices, and ensure cybersecurity compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement SCADA systems using Power On Reliance and C++.
- Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, RTUs, and IEDs.
- Develop HMI screens, custom modules, and control algorithms.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform system upgrades.
- Implement secure coding practices and conduct risk assessments.
- Create technical documentation and provide user training.
- Collaborate on project plans and ensure successful delivery.
- 5+ years of experience as a SCADA Engineer with expertise in Power On Reliance and C++.
- Knowledge of SCADA protocols (DNP3, Modbus) and communication technologies.
- Experience developing HMI screens and integrating SCADA systems with field devices.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for SCADA systems.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in SCADA or related technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Project management experience with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
