As a Center Supervisor you will manage the day-to-day operations of our center including supervision, monitoring and evaluation of instructional staff. You will ensure curriculum planning, record-keeping, and family and community partnerships align with Performance Standards and State regulations.
Your role will involve ordering educational supplies within budget and implementing Head Start Performance Standards. Join us in supporting CAPSLO's mission to effectively run the center and support as many children and families as you bring to the table.
- Education:
AA/AS in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development (CD) plus 6 units in Administration - 2 units of Adult Supervision
- 2 years related teaching experience
- Permit:
Current Child Development Site Supervisor Permit - Requirement: 3 Infant/Toddler college units
- Education:
BA/BS with 12 units ECE/CD - 6 units of Administration
- 2 units of Adult Supervision
- 3 units of Supervised Field
- 1 year Center Supervisor experience
- Permit:
Current Child Development Site Supervisor Permit - Requirement: 3 Infant/Toddler college units
- Ensure program quality adheres to State laws, licensing regulations, and Head Start Performance Standards
- Guide and monitor the implementation of services and provide training for Center Instructional staff
- Conduct monthly staff meetings and ensure the center environment is safe
- Coordinate developmentally appropriate screenings and ongoing assessments
- Develop and implement Transition Plans for children and participate in case conferencing; implement IEP/IFSP
- Oversee daily housekeeping, cleaning procedures, sanitation, and tracking of consumable supplies and instructional materials
- Coordinate monthly Parent Committee Meetings and community engagement in enrollment and recruitment
- Oversee mealtimes for Child and Adult Care Food in classrooms
