CGP: Staff Accountant

Our client, a reputable company in the consumer products industry, is seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. Expected starting base salary $30 to $35 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting Accounts Payable (AP) activities including invoice processing and payments
• Performing bank reconciliations and preparing journal entries
• Creating financial reports and analysis utilizing advanced Excel functions such as Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closings
• Participating in various accounting projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong background in Accounts Payable
• Proficient in bank reconciliations and journal entries
• Advanced skills in Excel, including Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
