Position: Accounts Payable Clerk for Logistics

Base pay range

$29.00/hr - $31.00/hr

Payrate: $29.00 - $31.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

Balance and reconcile batch control totals with source documents or computer listings to locate errors, encode correct amounts, or prepare correction records.
Prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered
Audit invoices and back-ups
Reconcile and post payables for vendors across various departments and/or accounts.
Perform bookkeeping work, including posting data and keeping other records concerning costs and shipments.
Prepare weekly and monthly pending reports
Collaborate with vendors, 3PL, and other internal departments for timely and accurate payments, identify and resolve any issues that may arise
Assist in month-end closings, clearing open GL items and accruing open shipments
Analyze and report any opportunities for process improvements

Education and Years of Experience:

Bachelor’s degree
5-8 years of minimal experience

Minimum requirements:

Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Written and verbal communication
Bachelor’s Degree

Top Three Skills:

Data analysis
Technical proficiency (excel, SAP, etc)
Communication

Preferred Skills:

General knowledge of logistics and/or supply chain
Experience with SAP, WMS, ERP

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $29.00 - $31.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
