Perioperative Clinical Specialist (Ontario & Manitoba Canada)As a Perioperative Clinical Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will make an impact by:
- Educating health care professionals on Solventum’s products to support practice change and better patient outcomes
- Presenting relevant and prioritized clinical content and participating in professional associations
- Collaborating with account managers on clinical/sales calls with key customers, requiring in-depth technical knowledge, understanding of clinical evidence, and problem solving of marketed products
- Supporting Solventum’s sales and marketing efforts at local, regional, and national trade shows/conferences
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre‑employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired.
Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in healthcare AND five (5) years of healthcare experience in a hospital, home care, and/or long‑term care environment
- Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse, with valid license from the College of Nurses of Ontario
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Current, valid Driver’s License
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Understanding various guidelines and standards in Canada to support positive patient outcomes eg. ORNAC, CVAA, CAS, AORN, IPAC, INS
- Clinical nurse specialist or clinical nurse educator experience
- Ability to think critically and creatively to find solutions for customer concerns
- Ability to present to large audiences with various backgrounds
- Strong history of engaging and motivating people
- Strong business ethics and integrity
- A collaborative personality style / a team player in all aspects
- Excellent computer proficiency eg. PowerPoint, Salesforce
Remote (must be located in Ontario, preferably the Greater Toronto Area for easy access to major centers across the territory)
TravelMay include up to 60% domestic (driving in/out of accounts and/or overnight stays)
