Role Description
KRPC, LP seeks to hire an Accounting Manager as a member of the accounting team. This position will fill a key role in the accounting function of the Company and its related entities by overseeing the financial and accounting operations while maintaining legal compliance. The Accounting Manager will manage budgets, analyze data, supervise staff, and support decision-making.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Review and analyze month end financial statement information to ensure GAAP conformity
- Update and monitor budgets, maintain classification consistency for budget purposes
- Help maintain and improve internal controls for best practices, fraud and asset safeguards
- Help process payroll and submit 401K payments
- Maintain and update tax plan, ensure tax PBCs are sent, ensure tax payments are made
- Supervise and mentor accounting and accounts payable staff, assign tasks, review work, and provide performance feedback
- Help review weekly accounts payable and address accounts payable inquiries
- Coordinate training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff
- Provide general back up to all accounting positions
- Reviews daily positive pay and ACH positive pay transactions
- Helps maintain and monitor optimal cash balances
- Additional Tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to work occasional overtime
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and supervisory abilities and experience
- Alignment with the company’s mission and core values
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Flexibility in duties and assignments
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong organizational skills (supervising tasks for 10+ entities)
- Team-oriented, service-focused attitude
