Trion IAQ, a subsidiary of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc., is seeking a Quality Manager for our Sanford, NC facility. Trion has been a trusted name in indoor air quality since 1947, specializing in solutions that reduce airborne contaminants in commercial, industrial, and residential environments. Our products include air cleaners, electronic air filters, humidifiers, and industrial air scrubbers. We pride ourselves on sustainability, high performance, and long-lasting designs.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead and direct the Quality Department to ensure compliance with internal and external customer quality expectations.
- Act as the primary contact for critical customer issues, quality performance metrics, and customer-specific initiatives.
- Oversee advanced quality planning with Engineering for new programs; monitor special characteristics using statistical techniques.
- Supervise and develop Quality Engineers and support staff; complete individual development plans.
- Manage ISO
9001:2015 compliance, internal audits, and certification processes as the Management Representative for Quality. - Drive timely corrective actions and lead root‑cause investigations for plant quality concerns.
- Manage supplier quality performance, including MQR and corrective action processes; enforce PPAP warrant completion.
- Maintain calibration of all gauges and ensure final product audits are conducted per standards.
- Provide on‑site customer support and track PPSC’s; assist teams with problem‑solving and follow‑up on significant issues.
- Develop resource budgets and staffing plans for the Quality Department; participate in interviews and hiring decisions.
- Conduct monthly warranty/quality reviews with leadership and maintain dashboards for customer quality metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quality disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
The work environment is primarily in a manufacturing plant setting, which may involve exposure to loud noises, machinery, and standing for extended periods. Reasonable accommodation may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
