Qualifications

The following combinations of education and work experience are considered acceptable:

BA/BS in Tech/Bus/Industry/Science with at least 2 years of direct regulated manufacturing pharma/biotech experience
AAS in Science-related fields with at least 4 years of direct regulated manufacturing pharma/biotech experience
HS diploma or equivalent with at least 8 years of direct regulated manufacturing pharma/biotech experience
Progression from Bio-processing Technician Level I, including additional internal development curriculum

A minimum of four years of pharmaceutical experience in biological manufacturing is preferred. List specific skills and minimum expertise required to perform job duties, such as:

Moderate repetitive standing, ladder climbing, bending, pushing, and lifting (up to 40 lbs) daily

Basic understanding of the metric system

Ability to rationalize and suggest solutions to unusual conditions or process concerns

Mechanical ability to assemble and operate equipment

Attention to detail when following procedures and noting unusual conditions

Effective written and oral communication skills to read procedures, document observations, and follow directions
