Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive wound assessments, including etiology, staging, measurements, and documentation.
- Develop and implement individualized wound‑care treatment plans using evidence‑based practice.
- Provide advanced wound‑care interventions such as specialty dressings, wound vac/negative pressure therapy, and debridement as allowed by scope of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians, bedside nursing, nutrition, therapy, and case management to support optimal wound healing.
- Lead pressure injury prevention initiatives, complete audits, and support facility quality goals related to wound care.
- Provide ongoing wound‑care training, education, and clinical support to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards and regulatory documentation requirements.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
- Integrate evidence‑based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
- Current North Carolina RN license (NC licensure or multi‑state compact license).
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Annual salary: $71,100.00 – $97,800.00.
