Caterpillar is looking for candidates that want to build a career. This is a rare opportunity to join the Caterpillar Sanford team as a direct hire. Position includes a starting wage of $20.20
/hour (+8% shift premium for 2nd & 3rd shift), quarterly goal sharing program and a comprehensive benefit program that We don’t lead our industry - our people do.

Shift

Schedule:

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:15 pm - 10:15 pm

3rd Shift: Sunday night - Friday morning 10:15 pm – 6:15 am

Watch our video to see our team build top-of-the-line compact track loaders. Position provides fabrications support activities including loading robots and/or machining centers as well as ensuring cleanliness of the area.

• Load/unload and position heavy fabrication metal components in holding fixtures using lifting devices
• Assist Machinists or Welders with certain processes
• Maintain Fabrications area in a clean and orderly condition
• Follow documented procedures, standard work, routings and blueprints

• Experience with Overhead Hoists OR Overhead Cranes

• Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Willing and able to perform repetitive operation
• Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.

• Material handling experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Machining experience or exposure
• Welding experience or exposure
