Trion IAQ, a subsidiary of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc., is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead all plant safety and environmental programs at our Sanford, NC facility. In this role, you will champion our Zero Harm vision, manage regulatory compliance across OSHA, EPA, DOT, and NC DEQ requirements, and drive a proactive safety culture through training, auditing, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll Do
  • Lead and administer all environmental, health, and safety programs for the Trion IAQ Sanford, NC facility.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and ADTI corporate EHS standards.
  • Drive a Zero Harm culture by engaging employees at all levels.
  • Design, implement, and maintain EHS systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the Management of Change (MOC) process.
  • Develop and lead internal audit/assessment programs.
  • Collect and evaluate incident data; lead RCA and corrective actions.
  • Oversee environmental compliance including waste handling, inspections, and reporting.
  • Maintain the site EHS compliance calendar.
  • Provide EHS training for employees and support Safety Committee initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years EHS experience in manufacturing, with 3+ years leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.
  • Expertise in LOTO, electrical safety, respiratory protection, PIV, wastewater, stormwater, combustible dust.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred
  • CSP, CHMM, or related certifications.
  • Experience with hazard analysis, JSA, risk mitigation.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Safety Kaizens.
Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing plant environment and requires routine time on the production floor. Employees may encounter moving mechanical equipment, ventilation systems, fabrication machinery, elevated noise levels, and environmental exposures typical of industrial operations. Requires periodic lifting up to 50 lbs and use of PPE.
