Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to focus on developing, maintaining, and improving operator station systems for Compact Track Loaders and Skid Steer Loaders. The ideal candidate will have 6–8 years of mechanical engineering experience and a strong background in product improvement, Six Sigma methodologies, and project management. Responsibilities include leading current product improvement projects, collaborating with global cross-functional teams and suppliers, supporting production and quality issues, creating and releasing engineering drawings and design updates, and driving cost reduction and quality initiatives in both office and factory environments.
Responsibilities
Typical task breakdown:
- Focus on Safety, Quality, and Customer needs
- Collaborate in team environment (local and global)
- Support and address production issues to achieve quality improvements.
- Report on Current Product Improvement projects progress
- Identifying and executing cost reduction opportunities within the operator systems team.
- Responsible for releasing and implementing product improvements.
Interaction with team
:
- Point of contact for all CPI related projects for operator station team.
- Support Built in Quality projects.
- Interact with the Manufacturing Engineering, Assembly Technicians, and Quality Team to address production line issues.
Requirements
Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 6 to 8 years
- Degree requirement: BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
