Job Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and improve operator systems for Compact Track Loaders (CTL) and Skid Steer Loaders (SSL).
- Lead and manage Current Product Improvement (CPI) projects using CPI tools and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all CPI activities within the operator station team.
- Lead cross-functional and global teams to deliver product quality and performance improvements.
- Support Built-in-Quality (BIQ) initiatives and drive continuous quality enhancement.
- Identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities within the operator systems scope.
- Develop technical solutions, conduct design reviews, and execute validation and verification plans.
- Create, release, and maintain engineering drawings and design documentation.
- Release and implement design updates and product improvements, ensuring adherence to implementation timelines.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams, suppliers, manufacturing engineering, and process partners to meet quality, customer, and business requirements.
- Support production by addressing manufacturing and assembly issues in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Assembly Technicians, and Quality teams.
- Perform ongoing current product maintenance and issue resolution.
- Monitor and report CPI project progress and outcomes.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer requirements while working effectively in a local and global team environment.
- 6-8 years engineering experience minimum.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Strong analytical capability with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience applying Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in data analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with stamping, fabrication, and non-metallic component design and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in Creo and Teamcenter for design and product data management.
- Solid understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience performing tolerance stack-up analyses.
- Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques.
