Biotechnology Instructor; Adjunct

This is a part-time, on-site position for a Bio Work Instructor (Adjunct) in Pittsboro, NC, or Dunn, NC. The instructor will deliver engaging lectures, facilitate hands-on laboratory sessions, and evaluate student performance.

• Face-to-face teaching and will be located in Chatham or Harnett County.
• Facilitate learning through curriculum and continuing education.
• Maintain accurate documentation required for students and instructors for the course.
• Keep current with information and skills in the teaching field.
• Work cooperatively with all directors and staff.
• Support a diverse group of students, including adult learners, women, and underrepresented minorities in STEM.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in the discipline with extensive certifications, experience, and/or coursework in Bio Work, Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Industrial Technologies, or related science.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Technology, Biochemistry, Biology, or a closely related field.
• Two years of biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• College and/or high school teaching experience.
• Experience using Blackboard.
• Familiar with the Bio Work certificate program.
