Overview
Sanford School Nutrition is seeking a Kitchen Personnel for Sanford Middle School. This position is 5 days per week, 5.5 hours per day. Food service experience is preferred but not required. Compensation for this position is between $18.04 - $20.81 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Operate all kitchen equipment
- Assist at service time
- Participate in cleanup of kitchen and cafeteria including washing dishes, pots & pans and other equipment
- Prepare daily records and assist in preparing monthly inventories
- Manage work schedule to meet all deadlines
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality when dealing with student, staff and/or parent information
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 40 pounds
- Able to read, convert and follow through recipes to end product
- Must be dependable with an excellent attendance record
- Thorough knowledge of USDA menu pattern requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and sanitation
