Waypoint, formerly known as Waban, is a Special Purpose Private School that serves children in Pre‑K through Grade 5 with autism, developmental disabilities and other behavioral health needs. Under the supervision of Certified Special Education Teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts, the Ed Tech III delivers 1:1 direct instruction in social, behavioral, emotional, functional and academic skills within the Applied Behavior Analysis model. You will also collaborate with occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech‑language services, and drive students as part of a transition plan to public schools when parents grant permission.

• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Implement behavior plans and interventions in alignment with the ABA framework.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (OT, PT, Speech) to support student progress.
• Transport students to and from school or therapy sessions when required and with parent approval.

• Minimum of 90 college credits;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification as a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) preferred; training provided.
• Certification as an Educational Technician III preferred; assistance provided.
• Valid driver’s license.
