Job Description:
Location: Sanford, Maine
ELECTRICAL PRODUCT ENGINEER – SANFORD MEMount Kemble Search Group, a division of CoWorx Staffing Services, is working on behalf of a top client in the Sanford ME area for the role of Electrical Product Engineer. In this role, you will design, develop, and test electrical products, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet quality, performance, and reliability standards. The position will support new product initiatives, reduce cost through product design and process optimizations, perform failure analysis, and identify root cause to ensure product quality.
This is a F/T, direct placement, onsite role for the client.
- Research and design electrical product concepts
- Prototype, test, and integrate hardware and software
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Assure and maintain integrity, producibility, and quality in production
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Develop technical specifications and product requirements
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies into existing and new products
- Create product documentation
- Provide electrical support
- Provide value to our customers by using Lean tools and concepts to identify and eliminate waste in all forms (scrap/rework and transportation)
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical product design and development required.
- Experience with air handling, motors, mechanical and electrical components.
- Experience with programming languages, embedded software, and systems integration in product applications required.
- Knowledge of industrial standards and regulations including UL, CE, and other standards required.
