Assisted Living Passenger Driver

• Drive the company vehicle from the community to social and other destinations according to the assigned schedule.
• Practice safe driving techniques, adhere to posted speed limits, and follow state guidelines for motor vehicle operation at all times.
• Secure passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during the trip.
• Document all damages to company vehicles, including accidents, dents, natural wear and tear, etc.
• Clean the interior and exterior of the vehicle after each outing and ensure adequate fuel levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record that meets company insurance standards.
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL) designation may be required if operating vehicles with a capacity of more than 15 passengers.
• Working knowledge of all motor vehicle safety precautions and compliance with safety measures.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
