Wharton‑Smith, Inc. currently has immediate openings in the Central Florida area for an Operator (Heavy Equipment) position. We offer a competitive salary and field benefits. We are also seeking qualified crane operators for Jacksonville.
Successful Candidates Must Have- High School diploma and on‑the‑job training (preferable)
- Certification as required by OSHA or Manufacturer for specific pieces of equipment.
- Experience working in the construction industry (preferable).
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Rigging training (preferable).
- Transportation to get to job site.
Operates heavy equipment including, but not limited to, backhoes, material handlers, excavators, dozers, and loaders for use in foundation excavation, site grading, material placement and pipe laying.
