The Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business) is responsible for profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales, understanding customers’ needs, building rapport and trust, and maintaining their book of business within the market or retail location. This role attracts and generates new customers and cross-sells existing customers for products including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.
The agent sells to walk-in customers and markets products outside the office via marketing calls and in-person visits to create community relationships that drive growth.
- Drive new business sales and retain a growing book of business within the market/retail location.
- Attract and generate new customers and cross-sell to existing customers across product offerings (Auto, Life, Auto Club, Roadside Assistance).
- Sell to walk-in customers and market products outside the office through marketing calls and in-person visits.
- Build community relationships to promote continued growth.
- Support a performance-driven sales environment with a focus on results.
- 0 – 2 years of experience.
- P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
- Must be bilingual.
- Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
- Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales and cross-sell/retention of customers.
- Leverages community contacts to build a sales pipeline and maintain an active physical presence in the community to create centers of influence and referral sources.
- Initiates outbound calling to target customers for product offerings.
- Monitors local competitors and suggests initiatives to improve market position.
- Works with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals.
- Delivers optimal results across metrics including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance, while complying with rules and standards.
- Understands and stays current on underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to policy changes.
- Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies cash drawer reports.
